Trying to sum up a lifetime of love, warmth and guidance within a few minutes feels impossible. Mami was not someone who needed the spotlight, she did not work for applause; instead, she just showed up- every single day for everyone who needed her. You gave us the best of your self all round, built the foundation for everything good in my life, you taught me how to be strong, how to be kind to strangers, and how to walk through the world with integrity. You had a quiet strength, faced hard times with grace, a deep well of patience and a dry wonderful sense of humour that could lighten any room, the perfect story teller you were. How do l capture the essence of a mother in just few words? Thank you for the comforting hands when life was tough,the voice of wisdom that guided us through, ever y piece of wise advice, and a lifetime of unconditional love. Rest in peace.
