Elizabeth McNeil, affectionately known as Lizzy, passed away on August 25, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. Born on June 22, 1984, in the same city she called home throughout her life, Elizabeth was 41 years old.

Elizabeth was a mother that left behind her children: Anthony Bates, Areeya McNeil, Satorya McNeil, Amanda McNeil, Lorenzo McNeil, and Aliza McNeil. Her love for them was unwavering and profound. She also shared deep bonds with her siblings—Eleeya McNeil, Tyrone McNeil, Lafreeda McNeil, and Eric Donerson—who stood beside her through life’s many seasons.

She was the beloved daughter of Donna McNeil and Robert Donerson. Her family roots ran deep in Chicago, where she built lasting connections and friendships that enriched her life and the lives of those around her.

Elizabeth leaves behind many friends and extended family members who will remember her with love and admiration. Her presence brought warmth to every room she entered, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

I thank God for the privilege to share life with you Jonathan omo Iya mi. Never would I have imagined I would ever do life without you, we practically slept on the same bed for years . You were a caring brother , content ,loving and always available. I am most grateful to God that He gave you enough time to reconcile with Him before finally taking your last breath to meet your maker. I love you deeply and I will forever miss you.No human can take your place in my heart. I miss you so much already. Noah don’t leave me alone here , please talk to me as much as you can, I will be listening. I know heaven is a better place but before we meet again please watch over your son , our mother and everyone you cared about. I will be here making sure you are never forgotten. I love you my brother ❤️❤️❤️. Keep resting in the bosom of your Heavenly Father.
